​Welcome to Double Diamond Training, the website for Chris Hitchcock, an experienced and accomplished event rider, instructor and trainer.  Chris has spent over 15 years teaching and training a wide range of horses and riders how to confidently compete and win from the introductory to Advanced levels of Eventing.  Chris was previously located near Richmond, VA and Durham, NC where he ran his operation, Double Diamond Training, as one of the top Eventing operations in each area.  After relocating to Colorado and taking a hiatus from the sport, Chris is again accepting students and horses on a limited basis.

Chris is based in Longmont, CO and will travel to the surrounding areas to teach lessons and provide training rides in dressage, cross country and show jumping. Instruction is available for students from beginner to Preliminary levels and services can be provided at your facility or one open to outside instructors. Please see the Services page for prices.
